Alzheimers Alzheimer's is the most common form of dementia, a general term for memory loss. It is estamated that 50 to 80 percent of those with dementia will have Alzheimers. It is not the only cause of memory loss. It usually occurrs after age 65. Alzheimer's worsens over time and is a progressive disease. The medical industry offers no cure for Alzheimer's disease. 1.
