I have long believed that Quack Watch obscures facts
and as I researched Sprilina I came across proof to
substantiate this fact. Below you will find my side
by side comparisons to document this fact. Evaluate
both sides of the facts and see for yourself.
| Spirilina or
Blue Green Algae. |

Doctor Research says |
| Algae: False Claims and Hype "These claims
are bunkum. The FDA has concluded that there is
no evidence that spirulina (or phenylalanine) is
effective as an appetite suppressant. The FDA has
also noted that the "65% protein" claim
is meaningless because, taken according to their
label, spirulina products provide only negligible
amounts of protein." Quack
Watch report |
"It is the nature's richest
and most complete source of nutrition. Spirulina
has a unique blend of nutrients that no single source
can offer...Spirulina exhibits therapeutic functions
such as antioxidant, anti-bacterial, antiviral,
anticancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and
anti-diabetic and plethora of beneficial functions."

| Note that Quack Watch picks one or two items they
can use to falsely claim something is not good.
The statement that Algae is not an appetite suppressant
may be true but it does not mean Algae is bad. The
report is misleading and obscures the facts that
Algae is a viable and worthwhile nutriment. |
If the medical community had a drug
that did what Blue Green Algae did it would be front
page news. Instead they want us to believe it is
harmful. Ask yourself why are they doing this? |
This is the first of future articles about how Quack
Watch obscures and distorts the truth.
