• It is a very difficult read and could be much better condensed, organized and achieve better results.
• Its final promised solutions are there but poorly organized or explained in my opinion.
• He fails to state that his findings are simply the same discovered by hundreds of others claiming oxidative stress along with other diseases such as Celiac are the same as Metabolic Stress.
  • He presents his information as if he and he alone discovered all he has when even by his own admission he obtained it from researching others who found it.
  • The concepts he outlines are the same as oxidative stress, kappa b, immune system and each of these contribute to Metabolic Stress. He never mentions Metabolic Stress in his book yet that is what it is.
• He refers to the use of Selenium but fails to explain there are three types of Selenium, one is has side effects, one has a low toxicity threshold and the third and best is the vegetable version.
• He refers to heavy metal toxicity and Metallothionein which is great as most Dr's miss this important concept, but fails to mention that researchers are finding every Metabolic condition has a problem eliminating copper.

I highly recommend buying and reading Dr. Hyman's book. Of interesting note Dr. Hyman is listed on Quack Watch who's reports are deeply biased for altered drugs and call all who promote nutrition quacks. Dr. Hyman's book is wonderful with information everyone needs to understand health, then to maintain good health and how to overcome illnesses.
