Herb Discovery web site and blog
welcomes guest or contributing articles that fit the following
criteria.
Note: We try to make all our articles meet this criteria,
it is rather daunting and a lot to do, but necessary and
is what makes Herb Discovery a more credable web site.
- Article must be an educative
article relating to health and or herbs.
- Article must be written in good
English form and contain no unfounded derogatory content and must
be of an uplifting positive nature.
- Factual information about
scams, health care, research foundations or government problems
are encouraged, if done so in a tasteful manner with verifiable
sources and facts.
- Author must accept accountability
for any unfounded information.
- If using others quotes or information
do so by obeying copyright laws.
- Must provide source and credit
to the original author. (can be just a hyperlink)
- Must be a partial quote (for
long articles) not a quote of the complete article.
- Must show "" marks
at beginning and end of quote.
- Must show ... three periods
for gaps when removing portions of the quote.
- Make no statement or claim that
is not supported with accredited medical research.
- Provide internet web source"
hyperlinks" for every research referenced in the article.
- There is a lot of history
called Traditional medicine. I agree with such traditional
information, but this web site is to provide verifiable scientific
documentation not history so that its credibility is superior
and devoid of speculation or unfounded information.
- "Article does not support,
present or advertise a supplement, health product or service.
- A genuine review of such
may be accepted if it is not a disguised ad for the item.
- Reviews are encouraged, again
if they are not disguised ads.
- Agree to include your name in
the article, it may be a pen name.
- emails will not be published
unless author specifically wants it, then only if author includes
their email within a jpg picture file so robots cannot harvest
the email address from our site.
- Links to your web site or
blog is acceptable provided the site and content does not
conflict with the mission of herb-discovery and does not advertise
a health product. (an exception may be requested and I will
review it)
- Agree to allow herb-discovery.com
to post your article, without any expectation or compensation.
(copyright will be retained by author)
- Herb-discovery may edit your
article, but will not publish it with our editing, unless we have
obtained your permission.
- Herb-discovery retains the
right to add comments and or links to your article without
your permission.
- Said comments will not change
your content.
- A few pictures are encouraged,
not required.
- we reserve the right to edit
pictures to size in area and load time.
- pictures must abide by all
copyright laws and include source.
- Documents must be in word or
similar format.
- HTML documents are favored
if they are not created by a word document. Word docs do not
transfer test colors, accents or links appropriately to be
transferred to the internet.
- HTML docs with full accents
are preferred, otherwise I may have to do a lot of work to
fix each picture, link, or accent, such as colors, bold, underlined
or italicized text.
- PDF docs will do this automatically
but are not the preferred method for my web site.
- We reserve the right to accept
or decline any article without obligation and to determine whether
to post it into our blog or web site or both.
- Additional requirements may be added without notice.
